Your modem (or other connecting device) is not functioning.

Modem Error again... an ini file associated with your modem might be damaged or missing..

It is suggested to restart your computer and try the connection again, if you receive the same error then:

1) from the dos prompt, run tapini.exe (usually located under windows\system) and hopefully it finds your modem file.. if not.. then that is your problem.

2) Using your original modem installation cd's/disks, uninstall, reboot and re-install your modem.

That usually fixes the issue.
