"The request has timed out."

There are many reasons why you might get this error message.

There could be an error with your connection as attempted to make your dial up/dsl connection. I'd suggest checking the settings in your connectoid or build a new connectoid, reboot the computer and try again.

There is an outside chance that you might need to uninstall/reinstall dial up networking as well, but make sure you have your windows cd on hand before you try this as you might need it during the reinstall.
