In your connectoid's properties make sure that "Log on to Network" is NOT checked.

If you are dialing into your isp, and that is all you are using this computer for, chances are you don't need netbios, so you might be able to go to network in the control panel and uninstall netbeui. If you are on a network, of this isn't a standalone machine in your house and you don't know if you need netbios or not, you should check with others in your house, or your system administrator to make sure you can uninstall netbeui.
